Andy grew up in New Jersey and attended college at Ohio Wesleyan University graduating in 1972. He married Laurel and they moved to Ohio University where he was a teaching assistant in Zoology. He quit Zoology after a year, and they moved to Dayton, Ohio where he had 7 jobs in 10 months. He applied for law school, was accepted, and graduated in 1977, having had 2 two children by then. Laurel decided they should move to Idaho where Andy would “hang out his shingle.” Which is exactly what they did.
After 3 years on his own, Andy told Tim they should join forces and build a personal injury law firm representing the little guy. Which is exactly what happened. They have been partners since 1981.
