Injury by Drunk Driver (Personal Injury/Car Accident)

            A fireman suffered personal injury when he was involved in a car accident and struck by a drunk driver.  The drunk’s insurance company refused to offer a fair amount to settle the personal injury case.  The jury awarded the fireman five times what had been offered by the insurance company, and the verdict included an award of punitive damages against the drunk driver.  (back)
